Just thought I’d inform you folks that there is now another potential unicyclist in our midst. Mrs Spickydoo had her baby boy today . He was 9lbs 7 1/2 oz and 22 3/4 inches long and we still haven’t decided on a name. Lucas or Daniel are the name’s that are being debated. Just a quick question, What size uni would be rideable for a person of that stature? I’ll keep everyone posted on his unicycling progress as it happen . Just stay tuned for the next 5 to 7 years.

Lucas could be shortened to Luc. (As in LUC:D )

Daniel or Lucas, huh?
Both are good solid names that no kid could make fun of. Except Luke Skywalker.
But Lucas is less letters, go Lucas.

Congrats. But might I suggest you use Daniel instead of Lucas. Yes Luc is LUC, but think of how many people in the unicycling community are called dan, it’ll make him more likely to keep unicycling. Well not really but 2 out of the like 8 main riders in Universe2 are named Dan, that’s a quarter, 25%, (374)/(1496), (x(x-1))/(4x(x-1).
Now that was slightly pointless.
Well Lucas does rhyme with Doofus and Mucus. On the other hand, I can only think of one ‘rude’ word rhyming with Daniel and that’s in another language. 
Seriously though, congratulations. That’s fantastic news. What’s the last name? (wondering which name I think sounds better).

The main argument my wife has against Lucas is the fact that I am a star wars fan and she doesnt like the idea of calling him Luke. She’s almost past it though and We’ll decide today what it’s going to be. The last name is Aschenbrenner pronounced without the c. We have decided on a middle name which will be David. I’ll be leaving for the hospital soon and I’ll inform you folks later today what the decision is. Thanks for all the well wishes.
If the last name is spickydoo then it doesn’t matter how short the first name is. I’d shorten it to S. Luc S. 4 letters, now that’s a name.
And Luc S. kind of sounds like Lucas.
It’s settled. Daniel David Aschenbrenner it is. Just got back from the hospital and the name has been picked. His grandfather has been telling people that it’s Lucas. Oh well, It’s not going to change now. He already looks like a unicyclist that has fallen on his face. I guess it’s a sign of things to come.
When he’s old enough and on the forum can we call him Lucas as a nick name?
