A neat little 3D character...

I just thought I’d share this neat little character I made with you. I don’t even know what to call it, do you have any name ideas?

pffft!

ley me guess…done in ac3d…you took a screen shot for the pic right?

suckville.

Use 3ds max, it rules.

agreed

I didnt think it would come to this…Look at my sig line.

3d Studio Max is a $3000 program.
Did you buy your copy of 3D Studio? I hope it’s not pirated.

Did you make your 3D models with 3D Studio? Cause your models that you posted were rather primitive and basic. Not very good. Rather simple. 3D Studio Max can do much better than that.

well a friend sent it to me, i dono if he bought it…

yes, those are my old models, i have much better ones now, but my harddrive crashed and i lost them, il try and dig up a pic for u.

I prefer Maya and that was $10000 haha, i dont believe in paying that amount of money if u either want to get into 3d modelling or you just do it for fun. I would pay for it if I owned a business that uses it!

it looks also like hes used rhino 3d

Let’s see your 3D model skills. Betcha haven’t even ever made a 3D model.

alright your on hold up ill get you one of my previous models and then you will see. i gots to find one that worthy so it will take me a while to  .

its funny you ask cause acctualy my dad makes and acctualy gets profit off of them so im sure mine would be way better then any of yours since he showed me basicly how to make anything

Whos unicyclingjoe from new zealend? went on my devaintart for first time in ages and theres some unicyclist.

my dad could make something like that

the guy tyler made reminds me of some kinda indian god cause he has that funny thing on his head lol.

This is about what you can do. Not what your dad can do.

Making a good 3D model takes a lot of time. It’s not trivial. I’m sure your dad will tell you the same. It also takes practice and time to learn how to use the software well.

I haven’t done any 3D modeling for a long long time. No time to play with that type of stuff any more. It takes too much time to make a good model. Back in the day I was using Autocad and POV-Ray. For my POV-Ray stuff I’d write little BASIC or C programs to generate the scripts that made the image. Now I go unicycling instead of playing around with POV-Ray.

Re: A neat little 3D character…

I like the model. It’s all good fun to play with software like that. And it can teach you a bit of math and problem solving skills. A better use of your time than playing video games.

wtf? did you not just here what i said up top i can make 3d models better then that maybe you should read before you post im also saying that im not as good as that guy who made the clock but my father is.

Yea, 3D modeling is really tough and time consuming. When I was into it, I used to do abstract 3D art with Bryce and Photoshop. It would take me a few days to create and render a piece in Bryce. I have some of them up at my deviant art website: http://www.digitalattrition.deviantart.com

dang… that spiraly thing is sweet!!!

I just saw you talking smack and being a jerk. I missed the rest of what you had to say. Are you trying to be serious now in this thread after starting off like such a jerk?
