A good-hearted plea for assistance

Fellow unicyclists (who happen to be facebook users), I ask of you a favor:

So here’s my desperate plea.- I have entered a competition for a new road bicycle, and I need about 60 seconds of your time to make it happen. I’m doing this so I can have a bicycle that will be suitable for longer charity rides (trek across Maine, Dempsey challenge) and so that I can ride the 1,200 miles from Beloit, WI to my home in New Gloucester, ME at the end of next school year. So here’s what I would like you to do, if you please:

  1. ‘like’ Easton Cycles facebook page: http://www.facebook.com/eastoncycling

  2. Then go to the photos section and ‘like’ the photo I (Hannah Blatchford) posted of a bicycle made only of bicycle spokes. Here it is: http://www.facebook.com/#!/photo.php?fbid=10150451433800206&set=o.174855749196433&theater

It’s not very pleasing to the eye, I know- but it doesn’t have to be- It need only be popular, like that freakish Rebecca Black song :stuck_out_tongue:

.Also, I thought of making a unicycle, but I don’t think it would be a valid entry, so I refrained.

That’s about it. The only other thing that would be so unbelievably great for you to do would be to tell all of the other people you know about this. If you want to post this message as your status, go for it. Message your friends if you don’t mind, post a note, anything would be appreciated.
If I were to claim this said two-wheeled machine, you can bet your lunch monies that you’ll get a personal thank-you from me.
So the contest ends on Apr 18th. What’r ya’ waiting fer?

Yellow spoke pile would sure look better on a less-busy background. Why not take a fresh picture of it on a nice, contrasting background?

I guess I was trying to get spoke pile in the midst of some serious cyclocross action, but I couldn’t agree more about the background confusing the subject. I would put up a new picture right away if it didn’t mean that everyone who already clicked ‘like’ would need to ‘like’ a new photo in order for it to get any votes. Thank you for the input!
