General studies is something of a waste of time. Fortunately at my school we do that whole A level in year 12. I got an A for it (full marks on at least 2 of the 6 papers :)) even though my teacher spent the whole year talking, effectively, about sex, drugs, rock and roll. The key to general studies is making up statistics. 85% of people believe made up statistics.
I had a couple of maths papers last friday (Mechanics 1 and Decision 1 for anybody that cares) and I’ve got Core 3 this Thursday. Other than those three all of mine are in the summer. I’m finding Biology painfully boring. We have, apparently, finished the course but I still dont feel I’ve learnt anything.
That sounds alot like a subject it took called ‘religion’ right up untill grade 11 it was basically general knowledge easy crap with the odd bible verse. Then we started religion & philosophy…
had two genreal studies exmas yesterday, the ethics/Religon one which was ok then mathsy science one which…lets just say i guessed and finsihed 40 mintures early and doodled all over the back pages
