800-395-2274 harassment

I’ve been getting several calls every day for a couple of weeks from this number. They do not leave a message on the machine and they hang up as soon as I answer.

Thankfully, with caller ID and the ability to turn my phone’s ringer off…
Oh wait, I could lose some important calls doing that!
This is what I’ve been driven to.

Unfortunately, I looked this number up on the internet and it turns out that the number is representative of a credit card company with which we hold a card…

Caller ID #:800-395-2274
and they are simply identified by my machine as “TOLL FREE”

Does this sound familiar to any of you?

…Oh noes Credit Payment!!

Yeah one of my friends had the same problem,
he eventually found that it was a payment that was payed but didn’t
get to the credit union in time.
So either you have a payment that is slow, or something
is happening to you with either a loan or whatever you are still
trying to “Currently” pay off.

ya but no one talks to me when I answer

I FURRgot…

Opps sorry I forgot to tell you that if that keeps on
happening that you should really contact your credit-
card company and ask for assistance(Or purhaps even HELP).

Well then…

Well then you should call them,
and ask why they keep calling you.

I had that happen once, and kept ignoring it, eventually I called it back and it was a credit card that had been taken out in my name, that I supposedly was 6 months past due on. Luckily I got in touch with them and was able to clear up the identity theft.

It could be something like that so call them back, and ask them to look and see if there is a problem with any of your accounts once it’s cleared up they will stop calling you.

Also when you do pick up and no one is ther it might be putting you in a queue to talk to a real person so you should hold the line for a minute.

It sucks that they are wasting your time, but it’s better to get it cleared up than to ignore it
