I don’t think that’s true. Sure, a lot of people find it easier with the seat backwards but, from most of what I’ve seen, more people do 540s etc with the seat facing forwards. I think it’s just personal preference and hand positioning. It’s not like it should be considered cheating to do unispins with the seat backwards. I do my 540s this way so I know I can’t talk, but I hope to be able to do them both ways soon.
Elias: Awesome stuff man. Despite the hops it just looked so smooth and easy. And I love the way you kick your legs out sideways more than most people, rather than just jumpimg straight up.
A lot of people learn them with the seat backwards, others just don’t think to try it. I don’t consider it cheating at all, but I give extra points for certain things, especially with more complex tricks like 720s, done by experianced riders like, Elias.
I’ve got 720s seat backwards more consistant then seat forwards(not on purpose, their just easier). I learnt them for competition reasons seeing as a 720 with the seat facing either way would be judged the same. Seat backwards is also helping to work towards 900s, very slowly.

to do spin backward is cheat?
where is it write? we have to begin somewhere, we start land tripleflip two hand and after you learn it one hand, you start learning unispin backward and after u learn forward, thats the way I am. gj elias, and gj raph

First I learnd the 720 with a normal 12" uni,
this uni has the sattle without handle,
I like the sattle and tried it on a 16",
a day later on my 20".
