6yrs & 1st 50m

My daughter is 6years old and rode her first 50m today. I don’t know who had the biggest grin, her or I. She then rode a few more times up to 80m before she ran out of driveway. My 4year old son is happy riding along holding my hand and finally my wife has decided to learn so she can join in the fun. Isn’t there a saying along the lines of “the family that unicycles together stays together”?
One proud dad.

Welcome Gabe. That’s Great that the whole Family is joining the unicycling craze. You must be proud of yourself. My Name is David and are you from Australia by the way. Welcome Mate and good luck.

David.

Excellent! It is a great feeling seeing your children succeed, enchanced to be sure by it being something you too love. Have a great time.

Congratulations Gabe, that’s great. Has Nora started learning yet?

Andrew

p.s. David, Gabe was my teammate in the 24hr.

Thanks for clearing that up Andrew. Welcome Mate, Andrew has told me nearly about you, Well…Almost.
Well get on well Gabe. Hoping to meet you one day and may even ride one day. Thanks Sooooo much Andrew. Cheers.

I bet it was you but congratulations to all of you!

Everyone in my family except my wife learned to unicycle last summer.
My son was 5 and my daughter 11. We’ve had many hours of unicycling
together and it really does help bring us together as a family. I have
posted here many times about the joy we’ve all shared. My wife now has a
unicycle and plans to get started after the weather warms up a bit. So
like yourself I’m sure I’ll be posting ‘wife on wheel’ news soon.

Welcome!

Cheers,
Jason
