why are six foot giraffes so hard to find these days? im glad i got mine a while ago.
They’re easier to find now than they used to be. At least online. You probably don’t see them in stores as often as we did back in the Schwinn days, of course then you couldn’t buy anything online…
Well you can get a 7ft giraffe if you want.

BTW i know this has nothing to do with the thread title, but i like to help people as best i can.
I’ve been wondering if UDC has any 1 foot length extensions for that giraffe to turn it into a 6 footer. That would seem to be a logical option. Not everyone wants a 7 footer as they’re much harder to mount.
If UDC doesn’t have a 1 foot length extension I suppose you could make a 1 foot extension yourself to make the unicycle a 6 footer.
Of the commercially available giraffes, that is one of the best. Though it is a bit expensive. Drawback is that I’m not sure how solid and stiff the frame is with that removable section and clamps to hold it together.
Well that’s Australian prices, so it may differ in currency conversions.
