As promised, I went out for another hour of natural trials riding and filming. Nothing special, but it does show the first half of one particularly great line that I can’t quite do yet. It’s the one with the gaps between logs down a hill. I also realised today that I really do need to learn to hop at least 10cm higher.
Today involved a different style of natural trials than the other day’s 40sec video (see other recent thread). There were less spots to wedge the wheel in and it involved more hopping on top of rocks than between them. Still very fun.
The file is 50sec long and just under 3MB in size. For those with similar tastes in music, that’s part of “Darkly” by the Charlie Hunter Trio album, ‘Friends Seen and Unseen’. Fantastic music!
woah nice stuff Andrew. Looks like a really cool place to ride, i love natural trials lines like that, though theres not enough of it around here…or maybe im not looking hard enough. I can see what you mean about hopping higher, but overall good stuff.
A nice video.

ignoring the impressive skills, comparing the 2 videos, the one without music is my preference - the sound of metal/rubber/padding on rock is wonderful. pure. satisfying. with music (of any sort) it distracts from what we’re watching.
agreed. I’m still a big fan of music in uni videos, but I like it best when the natural sounds are still left in. the first video had some nice bird twirping sounds. It was Zen Uni.
