With 3000 posts last month when do you think we will hit 100,000? (this does not include the archive prior to 1/19/93)
You might have to put up a six pack of root beer since many of us did not recieve our “free 6 pack of root beer” from a previous post. 
How do you find out how many posts there have been?

The forum main page gives the number of posts for each forum.
But another question: how will you know WHO posted the 50,000th?

I was hitting “refresh” as the counter approached 50,000, my observation was peter.bier was 49999 with the first post of his “Waiheke weekend adventures” thread at 10:02 GMT.
Next was bagpiperboy at 10:03 GMT with his post in “Suicide Mounts & Cameras”.
Next was 50,001 with the above post by ekimstorm at 10:03 GMT.
Do we have to split the baby? 
1/2 a six pack each to bagpiperboy and S_Wallis?

It depends on which counter you want to use. In the database there are currently 50110 posts, but on the forum index page, it has 50072 posts. The post by S_Wallis is going on the database count. Oh, and I had the 50001st post.
The decision is…
I was using counter on the forum index page for offer of the six-pack for both my initial post and winner post.

I’m going to need some help if this is going to involve more six-packs;) maybe for the 100,000th post if we all live that long.
BTW Gilby; the warrantee doesn’t run out at 50,000 does it?

It is my personal opinion that the content and quality of posts is far
more important than the quantity of posts.
Also, many posts should be sent as personal e-mail. However, the
timelimit.unicyclists.com From addresses aren’t valid which makes it
difficult to send personal responses to unicyclists.com members.

You need unary really.
Some simple examples:
Decimal Binary Unary

As you can see. It is quite easy. I’ll leave it to the rest of you to
quickly note down the unary equivalent of decimal 50,000.

Hmm, I am not usually short of words but your request did rather halt me in
my flow. However in the short time before the sands run out, I have come
up with the nearest thing I can to the requested hourglass picture. More
sand has run out since I created the picture.
