My club is sort of semi-official (we don’t have an indoor venue or
insurance yet; we’re only a year old). But our turnout has been very
official in recent weeks.
Due in part to surprisingly nice February weather, we had our largest club
gathering. 31 unicyclists showed up, most of whom had ridden with us
before (only a few newbies or walkons).
Most of our riders are about level 2, but we have two level 7s (well, we
will as of next meeting), and a bunch of level 3s and 4s. We mainly hang
out and work on skills, juggling, UWs, giraffes, and so on. We have had a
few park rides but have not played any ball games (football would be fun).

It really was great to ride up to our meeting spot, and seeing so many unicyclists in one place nearly brought a tear to my eye ;…-)
What a great day.

It was weird – it was like unicycling was normal. It’s pretty odd for me
seeing 25 unicycles in one place outside of a video, a convention, or the
circus. It was great indeed.
