i’m going to shoot in 1080p later. actually there’s no point in using 720p@60fps for youtube…

however, on my computer 720p@60fps looks better than 1080@30fps. its amazing. i never knew lil pocket cams could do so much.

it was 169.99. got an 8 gig memory card, 1 hour 24 mins of video /w hd

Putting 60fps footage onto a 30fps timeline is what allows you to have smooth slow motion. Its almost impossible to get decent slow motion out of just 30fps.

There’s no point in shooting 1020! Youtube’s max is 1280x720. Fills the screen and looks great. 1020 is a waste for youtube.

I do not agree. Here’s an example (it’ a bit crappy, but whatever)
EDIT: Just look at the tripleflip, the inward varialflip was too slowed down so it’s choppy. No special plug-in used or things like that. I should make another once since this one was pretty choppy.

i’ve used the camera for a few hours now…i’m probably going to use the 720p@60fps anyway. i’ve checked out the slow motion and it’s amazing, but as of now i don’t have an editing program that will make slomo. i can view it but not edit it.

i’ve recorded quite a bit of video now and i end up cutting the quality of the 1080p a bit anyway just because of the massive file size. i uploaded one clip at best quality though.

Emile, while the first clip isn’t terrible, its still choppy and theres no denying that slow motion from 60fps is going to be better than from 30fps.

Yep, the more frames the better. Otherwise it gets choppy or if you have a decent program/plug-in for slow motion, it try to recreate frames and pixels, which can add a weird blur to the clip.
