29er tyres

I’m close to getting myself a nimbus II / Yuni 28/29’er from unicycle.uk.com, but I need help deciding which tyre to get.
I plan on using it both on and off road, but probably more cross country than hardcore muni.

Is the 700c x 45 tire that comes with the uni good enough or will a 29" tyre make much difference?

Is the nanoraptor worth the extra 12£ compared to IRC nortos?

Morten

it is worth it,if you going offroad i say its a must.the air volume in a 2.1 is more comfortable too.

check out the MotoRapter also, its fine on the pavement and better than the Nano on the trail.

I agree with Jagur 100% … if you are going off road, even smooth dirt or gravel, you will want at least a 29" x 2.1 tire. I like the IRC Notos better than the Nanoraptor so I’d recomend not spending the extra money. But I think the WTB Motoraptor tracks straighter on pavement than either the Notos or Nanoraptor, and it’s surprisingly smooth and quiet considering the aggressive tread.

I upgraded from a 45mm to the IRC notos and it’s a big improvement.

Thanks!

I think there’ll be a IRC Nortos on its way soon

Thanks again
