I’ve just acquired a 28" Sem. Anyone know what the biggest tyre (US: tire) is that I can fit on it? It has a 28" (622) rim and a 28" Sem XL frame.
Cheers
Nick

I have a Semcycle 28/29 that I got from Unicycle.com and it came with a 29" Big Apple tire. There seems to be plenty of room in the frame for it.
Cheers ET2. Is that the 2.00 or the 2.35 big apple? I measured the frame and it is 2" wide so I think the 2.00 might squeeze in (does anyone know how wide these tyres actually measure up?).

My Big Apple 2.35 actually is 59.1 mm wide, that converts to 2.33". It
is on a fairly narrow rim (inside width 22 mm) and at a lowish
pressure, so it seems safe to say that the nominal width is not
exaggerated.
