26th & 27th June YORK CYCLE RALLY

Hi,

I will be doing a unicycle demo on Sunday 27th June at the York Cycle Show. I will be doing mainly Trials, although I will take along my freestyle MUni and maybe giraffe.
There are a couple of people from my club going down, including my dad, so there should be a few unicyclists this year.

The event which is held at York Race Course, is really informal, and has trader stalls, bike displays and other attractions. It’s a great day (or weekend) out if you like anything human powered!

There is also nice rides to be had out along the river side (as Phil kindly showed us last year, or was it the year before??).

Derek, my dad and I will be going for both days, and staying in either a youth hostel or Travel Lodge/Inn.

I hope to see a few unicyclists there this year!

'Twas last year. Despite having been in York for three of of the last four years, last year was the first time I actually knew anything about a cycling rally.

Admittedly the years before that I was one of the unwashed masses who couldn’t unicycle… :slight_smile:

I don’t think I’ll be going to this one. Last year it was a 20 minute ride from home; this year it’s a 5 hour drive or so… :frowning:
