I think the same! I don’t have a 36er anymore so won’t comment on that. If I go my fastest, I go maybe 14km/h on my 24. But on my 29er, it’s 15km/h. So, it’s not very different!
My 24" is way easier to mount though, and the 29er is nicer to use if it’s a longer distance.
