24" for trials?

I’m wondering if the 24" size is really the ideal for BOTH muni AND Trials?
I’ve seen so many vids showing both 20" & 24" unis being used for trials
where both riders (young as well) were doing the same high level tricks. It
just seems that a 24" is the best choice (especially for tallere riders)
because where a 24" is the standard for muni, a 20" is too small. So if you
can do both muni and trials with the same size, that’s a big plus, right?
Please correct me if I’m way off base here.

PS: Still looking for riding buddies in the South bay area! (That’s from
Redondo beach, CA, to Venice Beach, CA area.)

I do trials on my 24". I wouldn’t reccomend it so much, though. Street you can use a 24" if you have the right style, but a 24" is just heavy for trials. I mean, there’s no reason not to use it, but it’s just heavier than a trials uni, so there’s no reason to use one either.

if you only want one unicycle for all-around stuff, a 24" would be better than a 20" wheel. trials can be done on a 24", but the thing is, a 20" wheel is a lot lighter. thats pretty much the reason people want it for trials. and also you can tuck it higher for seat in front hops.
Justin Kohse does INSANE street riding with a 24" in Defect.

once you try a 24" youll never go back to those little 20"ers

I use my 24 for everything, and its awsome

I have a 24" and i go back to my 20" alot weather it be for getting around the house or learnig new tricks. I also saving up for a real trials uni.
as for the original Question 24" is the way to go if you want to do Muni and trials or if you don’t know yet what you will like better
