24" Blizzard Frame

I’m just wondering here, but what would be the ideal kind of uni to build using a 24" Blizzard* frame as the basis?

From what I’ve come across, nearly all 24" unicycles are munis. Is that what would suit a Blizzard best? They’re really lighweight, so I assume nimble enough for freestyle or hockey? Or would their strength lend themselves to trials?

Muni would be the best i would think… they are very strong so i would smack a profile hub in there and tackle some trails!

Not over here you wouldn’t!

I can’t see any point except for as a Muni frame, you just don’t need the strength for anything else. Did you get this in that bulk buy a couple of weeks ago?

A 700c fits in the 24" Blizzard with a fraction of clearance, but it really works best as a Muni-- I’m using the same frame with a slick 24x3" just to ride around the city, but if you want to see a bomber setup,

My Large Marge Wheel found a new home

I found the perfect home for my 24" Large Marge Wheel. (Widgetless Jagur) Thanks to Pete Perron brazing a dual brake mount onto a Joe Rowing frame. I had another Rowing Frame and it was a favorite. When I saw Pete was selling this one I couldn’t resist. This setup is much cleaner though a little heavier than the Scott Wallis adapters with the KH frame, which was very nice. I prefer non-standard stuff anyway. I can’t imagine a better LM setup. Big Brother - Little Brother [Rowings.JPG]

Phil (PDC) has made some Awesome configurations based on the Blizzard (Rowing) Frame.

Yup, but I also got another muni (With Magurars fitted) that I’m planning on using as a muni. I don’t need 2, but don’t want to see the Blizzard frame sit there and do nothing. I’m just not too sure what else I could use it for.

I’d spotted the brake mounts on the post that BluntRM linked to, but hadn’t appreciated that they were dual mounts. Neat. Very neat.

I origionally built them for a profile hub and a duro 24x3 inch tyre but lots of people have used them for all-sorts to my great delight!

I’m thinking of getting back into more muni riding again soon with the nickel-plated prototype…
