It’s on the way, we havent decided on lots of things yet, but keep your eye out, should be pretty soon.
Is a place even selected yet? Or are they all in Calif?

Nationals (formerly called NUC now called NAUCC) are held wherever a group is willing (and able) to host them. The 2002 NAUCC was held in Washington. It is my understanding that the 2002 NAUCC will be held in Minnesota and will be hosted by TCUC. Anyone care to confirm or deny?

Kiddiminster, West Midlands, UK. April 25th-27th 2003 . Details and reg

If you meant the AUS national convention, thats happening some other time
and place, ditto the USA, the Belgian, German, Swiss, Danish etc
nationals. BUC 10 will probadly be the most chilled out weekend of the
lot,well worth traveling for. Just ask the Canadians, Aussies and Yanks
who came along last year, its got to be good if itw worth a 12 hour plane
trip.

The USA Board of Directors is currently voting on a motion to sanction TCUC as the hosts of NAUCC 2003. The only details we have are that it will probably be a five-day event and that it will probably be held sometime in August. The later than usual date is on order to allow several of the key members of TCUC’s organizing committee to support a distance ride in Europe in June.
We will post more information as soon as it is made available to us.

The Unicycling Society of America’s National event has been held every summer since 1973, but only once in California. That was in 1998, and it was not too far from Ontario.
Unless you were talking about some other Ontario. The Ontario in Canada is pretty big, but we held our first “nationals” ever outside the US border in 2001.
In 2000, the convention was held in lower Michigan (Adrian), not too far from the Canadian Ontario.
TCUC appears to be working hard on the 2003 event. Now we have to figure out who wants to host it in 2004 and 2005. People need more than a year to properly plan these things and book the good facilities.
Folks,
Connie Cotter, co-chair of the TCUC organizing committee, reports that they have tentatively secured the gym at Augusburg College in Minneapolis and the track at Saint Thomas in Saint Paul for potential venues for NAUCC 2003. She says these colleges are very close to each other (less than 10 minutes by car). The gym is a very large, air-conditioned facility. It is larger than Mount Si (the main facility for NAUCC 2002 / UNICON 11).
Connie reports that the tentative dates for NAUCC 2003 are Wednesday, July 30 (registration) through Tuesday, August 5.
