2 more Coker skatepark pics + 1 flat ground banked turn

Here’s two more Coker skatepark photos (different angles) for those of you who enjoyed the first few that I posted. These were obviously shot from the top of the ramp. I hope you like this perspective! The third photo is just a shot of me leaning it over a bit in a turn on flat ground. Please excuse my weird face… I think I was holding my breath or something!

2nd Coker Skatepark photo

Here’s the 2nd photo…

Here’s the turn on flat ground…

That last one is amazing…a huge lean! Did you ride out of it?

Thanks a lot, Andrew! Aggressive turns (with a lot of lean) are my trademark! I did, indeed, ride out of that one. I can actually lean it over even more than the turn in that picture. I look forward to posting the video soon… so that you can see some of the turns in full motion. By the way… I am extremely impressed with your riding… and entertained by your movies. Great job!

Thanks. Really looking forward to seeing the video clips.

Andrew

nice
there are some off road trax here in austin that you would like )
Coker is truely my favorit )

Andrew, you should see him ride! He will ride straight, then very suddenly go into a massive leaning turn! He can do a stunning figure-8.

those pics would look so much better with a helmet…

:sunglasses:

When did you say this, Dave? You’re not quoting someone unless that
someone said it before.

At the NYMW, he was yelling this in my face as he was shaking me with his hands clenching my neck ala Homer Simpson

Thanks a lot, Nick! Brian is right… stock rim, although I think Uni.com did do something to improve it a bit after I tacoed the first two rims I got from them (I was also a lot heavier in weight at the time). I live in Manhattan. Weaving in and out of cars and avoiding pedestrians and cyclists (and cab doors) is my uni discipline… I don’t know what to call it, maybe Urban Attack. I’d love to get it on film if I could get Brian MacKenzie or some other extreme Coker rider to trail me with a camera. Any volunteers?

Round my parts we call it Urban Assault

That coker guy looks like Tim Allen (no offence!)

You caught me!

Latest “Klaas-tistics”… (I made up that word)

Number of times Dave said “People who quote themselves are lame” – ZERO.

I shall attempt to redeem myself with this tardy, tawdry remark:

Hey Greg, people who quote themselves are lame!

(just kidding)

No, I think I was yelling in your face “I can’t believe you rode your Coker up the stairs!!!” *

    • it was four steps. And not the wussy kind either.

Not really. But Brian MacKenzie sure looks a whole hell of a lot like Sofa. Sofa. Now there’s a name I have not heard in a long time. A long time.

Like you need to ask!

How about this spring, (march break or so) I come down to NY again and we go for a bizarre fast ride through the city and we’ll film it

I can start getting footage for TWNR2

Why would you want to ride in a yellow taxi?
