Hello, listed below is the 1998 National Unicycle Convention. It will be held in
Monrovia, California (right next to Pasadena, California). While the schedule
may still be modified slightly, the dates are now set. So make your plans now!
The convention this year is going to be start on Friday and end on Wednesday.
This is to accomodate the people who will be heading to Unicon IX in Germany.
See the note at the end of this message concerning Unicon IX.
The 98 NUC is going to be a fun convention. Not only is it a new location but
there will be many new people attending the event. The city of Monrovia is
rallying around the convention making it a spectator event for the community.
Due to the success of workshops in the 97 NUC, there will be the same emphsis on
workshops for 98 NUC.

Note about Unicon IX: Unicon IX is from July 25th to August 2. Most people that
will be going to Unicon IX will be leaving right from LAX to Frankfurt, Germany
on Thursday, July 23rd. If you have any questions on flying to Unicon please let
me know and I’ll do my best to answer your questions. If you are thinking of
going to Germany from NUC, please let me know as we are going to try to
negotiate a group discount.
