i want a portable uni so when i go somewhere i still have a uni to go on nad ive decide its either a 12 or 16 inch what are your thoughts on this
there isn’t a lot you can do on them… easily. I guess you could adapt, but i’d just take a 20" with me. Although 12 " have a lot more novelty.

I guess 16"
16 only because it is closer to 20" then the 12" is. I think that the 12" would be the most moveability
why not just bring a 20"??? its so much more versatile that a 12 or a 16 those sizes are for kids and novlety alone…they serve virtually no other prupose. if you need to just take your uni apart to move it around and thn put it back together
Just? Much easier said than done. Sure, it’s not “hard” to take the seat and frame off, but it would be super annoying to do every time you ride.
12" arent that fun to ride… you can’t lean at all without the pedals touching the ground. I’d say go with the 16".
I’ve ridden both and the 16" feels more like a slower 20" where the 12" is just hard to ride and do anything on.
I’ve ridden both sizes. A 20 is far far better than either. With a quick release seat clamp and a good pedal spanner, you can stip a 20 down to be easily portable in about 1 minute.
A 16 is a poor subsititute for a 20. It is 20% slower at any given rpm.
A 12 is little more than a novelty toy or (whisper it softly…) a circus prop.
i think 12 is a lot of fun but it’s not good for distance
16 is better for me
think about how much easier unispins and stuff would be on a 12 inch wheel
but seriously, if you can, get a 20 inch because the others are slow and the pedals hit the ground. Many brands of small unicycles wont last long, because they were designed to be used by small children who dont weigh much.
