Nice piece of kit, do you think it’s one multi-platter drive or a few seperate drives stacked together? I can still remeber when a 1 gb upgrade cost £15,000
looking at WD’s site, they boast highspeed and backup, but surely this is too cheap to be a 1 TB RAID5 setup
Given its width, relatively low price, and term “dual-drive storage system”, I’m going to guess its 500gb drives using RAID 0
IF you go to WDs site it’s two 500GB drives. Supposedly it’s also noisy as heck.
