1 foot riding on the Coker

The coker has enabled me to finally be able to 1 foot ride. It’s extra momentum
helps to make it possible to get ‘over the top’ with the stroke. Attempts on my
24 inch CyclePro never got anywhere.

Its the most impressive trick I’ve learned so far on Uni.

While learning (I’m still learning) the right leg ,… there has been quite a
few close calls (to falling bad). Probably a good idea to take it very slow to
stay safe.

I’ve attempted the left leg a little here and there… but have decided to get
real good with the right first.

Any good 1 foot Coker stories out there?

Are you saying it’s easier to 1 foot ride on the Coker than a normal 24" uni?
Amazing. I hadn’t got up the guts to try on the Coker yet, but can do it on
20/24/26 unis. Will try asap.

I can do it and it is very cool, but I find it quite hard - I fall a lot!

Embarraseing face plant inthe centre of stokton whilst one footing infront of a
bunch of teenagers, roger davis and rocket. Bruised elbows again… then the
next day the Coker was nicked, there is no justice, they might have let me
perfect my new skill first then nick a beat up batered uni rather than a new
shiney one.

Also, i started to one foot on the coker the same afternoon as on a 20inch.
having first learnt on a 24 in a hall and then tranferered the skill to a 26
inch whilst road riding. its one of the few “tricks” I can do and I’m rather
proud of it. sarah
