cant remember the last time i had a snowboard bench to sit on in the middle of a MUni ride

Cool. Graffiti and piles of junk make a good background for a video.

Nothing special but as far as I know this is the first picture of me on one wheel, the ride was nothing special either - just to the shop!

Riding the Pipeline with KcTheAcy

I had a good ride last Thursday with KcTheAcy from Maine. He was in Utah for a field geology course and visiting family. We hit the the Pipeline Trail up Millcreek Canyon just East of Salt Lake City for an out-an-back from Burch Hollow to “The Overlook” (about 4.6 miles, one-way).

Kaycee is an amazingly good rider. It was great fun following him and watching him turn the trail into a “Natty Trials” course: Hop to rock; 180 off to backwards riding; quick 180 to forwards; one footing; and even coasting – all while on trail.

The shots, in order, are: (1) Kaycee “riding the pipeline” (or what’s left of it); (2) “munispin”; (3) Kaycee arriving at the overlook; (4) “group shot;” (5) looking North towards downtown, the Univ. of Utah, & Antelope Island in the Great Salt Lake; and (6) looking South at Mt. Olympus and Olympus “Cove.”

Thanks for a fun morning Kaycee, let me know when you start your graduate program at the U of U. Let’s ride again!

A Sunday Spin on the TritonMEGA

Sections of cool DH trails at the Fells come to abrupt endings, and I’m still learning how to roll out technical fall lines on a 36. It’s amazing how technical single track sections all smooth out on the Big wheel. Trail Obstacles that would trip up a 29er on occasion, are a non-issue bump on the 36. I came upon some not so subtle Hardcore MTB’ers snickering, until I passed them on a long uphill, and kept up on the singletrack down. Their tune changed :sunglasses:

that looks like awesome fun!

You have anymore pictures??

From my ride on Saturday out to the Rinconada General Store in Santa Margarita (California) and back with my new Shadow handle just before a spectacular UPD. 25+ miles round trip. I’ll make it to Pozo eventually.

Sadly not, we only pictured the two biggest jumps because i wanted to see how slopestyle riding works without sore muscles and with a food which doesnt hurt ;).

Pictures from my latest ride at Woodhill MTB Park:

I didn’t find anything wrong with the food at elsbet. Actually it was pretty good IMO.

Oh wait, did you mean your foot hurt? That would actually make sense.

Nice pics, by the way!

…and nice shirt:D

@lutz and munirocks: i had also no idea what could be wrong with our food… i hope it’s just a misspell… otherwise:  !! :stuck_out_tongue:

Were the stills caps from a wide angle helmet cam -what make? Were you using a wide angle lens or a semi fisheye conversion lens on a conventional camera?

hahaha xD

the worst part was having to walk back up the hill >.<
So much fun though!

I think he is saying foot because he jumped off a roof the second day and he said that he hurt his foot with the landing.
