I wish i had a 36" :frowning:
I didnt know people my age had them :stuck_out_tongue:

Cool

the wheel is creaking a decent amount and I think it is just from the spokes being ridiculously loose so I will just take it into my LBS to ask them to tighten and true it while they’re at it

My wheelbuild was also quite poor on my N36 (airfoil) The wheel was dished and would hit the frame quite a bit when dooing Muni, I ended up tightening one side a full 4 turns for each spoke and loosening the other side by half a turn each. My wheel is now much stiffer and actualy centered. My bearings squeeked a little bit for the first few 100 kms but dont anymore, not sure why.

EDIT: nice job on the seattube by the way

what is the rope on the t7? Lock? are those rubber handle grips or tape? Looks good.

Are those Nimbus spokes 12g or 14g?

Looks to be a lock.

ooh ooh so many questions!

Thanks for showing the cut down seat tube…but it’d be easier to see if the clamp wasn’t blocking the view  . I’m also really glad that it’s possible to fit a caliper brake on the Nimbus frame. Was there already a hole there, or did you have to drill it? Finally…that’s a strange looking airfoil…does it have a different cross section? I’d like to see the weight of it.

And those must be 12g spokes…they look…“chubby”…

I didn’t either until NAUCC this year

That would be a lock and that is black bar tape

dunno

I will try to take a pic of just the seat tube soon but it is in the LBS to tighten the spokes (as I’m lazy)

It was drilled but on the inside there was a hole which I enlarged and drilled all the way through.
It is the new double walled UDC rim, don’t know about the weight but it is made in the same factory as the new Coker rims

Hmm…intriguing. Looking back, it does look vaguely like the new Coker rim without the black. Maybe it is just a new Coker rim with 36h?
