When i look at my 26" Duro wildlife leopard 3" tire i think "motorbike, small one" and i've seen 4" and wider slicks on some customized bicycles, my Yamaha 500XT had a smaller tire than the Larry.
Pretty impressiv and according to your comments i had the right feeling about it, good for snow and sand, but surely not for my XC needs (and my skill and condition, more than 3" inch would be way more exhausting).

Greetings

Here's a Speed test I did yesterday using 125mm cranks...this thing FLIES!

And a side by side comparison with my G26er and KH 29er.

Gee, just when i decided, after much thought and browsing the forum, that i'll do with my KrisHolm 150mm cranks on my new/used 26" Qu-Ax-Nimbus Muni, you come up with this video here and i the mouse cursor moves to the "order" button on UDC.

Greetings

That is hilarious!

...the girl on the trail is probably gonna have nightmares about what she thought she was running into!

Thanks for posting the pic of all 3 unis next to eachother, it really puts it into perspective. Beastly!

That would make a cool stereo/3d image.

Definitely a keeper, if only because it gets so many double takes on the trail, haha, but it's a blast to ride and bounce around on! Drops are also much easier on the rider (and the uni!) thanks to the high volume Larry and the LM rim. For those who have thought about maybe buying one, and maybe are leaning that way after seeing my review, like Byc, my bet is you won't be disappointed. Go for it!

Terry, you are not sponsored by UDC, are you?

BTW I also like the Oregon, but I don't have one.
I mis your 24x3 in the picture above, I am curious how the Gazza on the Large Marge rim compares to the Oregon.

Yes, udc's a sponsor, and I run an "Intense" brand 24x3 on my 24 kh MUni. Even though it also has an LM rim, it seems way small compared to the Oregon!

That's a wtb stout, which came with it. Since getting my G26er though, and now the Oregon, I haven't been riding my KH 24, KH trials, or my KH 29er much at all, but that could change, especially if my GUni goes south!

Cool Nice work Terry!

I really enjoyed your Oregon video. I can see how that must have taken you a long time to produce. Very well done, professional, and witty. Not only are you inspiring a lot of people to try unicycling,(which I started doing 31 years ago because of my older brother), you are inspiring people to do a better job when making videos. I haven't posted any videos yet, but watching this inspires me to make some time to do some editing and get a few on my website.

When I come back to visit out west (I'm from Canoga Park, CA), I would love to go shred some road and trails with you!

Peace.

I'm in Porter Ranch and my MTB club has grown a group of six muni-ists. Be sure to post when you're in town! There's an LA/OC ride thread somewhere around here...

Thanks for those very kind words! Yeah, if you're ever down this way, definitely give me a holler!

You should post your group rides, so other people know about them; you'll get more riders too! I know it's a fairly new group, but I'm sure there are many more riders in an around LA/Ventura/SB that might like to ride with your group.

Haha, funny you should ask.

Saturday, 1/7/11, was a perfect day for a GUni ride! Arrived at 8am under crisp, clear blue skies, and 36 degrees…Burrr! Luckily, by 9am it had jumped up to a very comfortable 63. This was just a picture perfect, pristine morning and I decided to do the whole 15 miles out & back. No video, but I snapped a few cool stills.

Just got a new kh seatpost for the Oregon, to replace the original one that came welded crooked, and thought I would also add the t-handle like on my G26er. Looks cool eh?
