@ Naplam,

It will be fine, it's not the first event I've staged so I know what to expect. The biggest problem in organizing a muni fest is that we don't have a critical mass of riders unlike some bigger urban areas.

I'm going to take advantage of UDC's offer to included fliers in all uni shipments, them if we get some local folks and some folks off the forum, we should be fine.

Even if it's just me, Alex, and Wes, we'll have a nice ride

I'm gonna talk to Josh and see if the Atlanta UDC contingent will come up for the day, that'd be a hoot!

The basic format will be Friday evening informal freeride and dinner on the town. Saturday breakfast on the hill, muni ride (break into skill levels) in the morning, trials at noon, 36er race afternoon, late afternoon potluck and white elephant gift exchange, maybe a raffle if some local groups care to donate, likely a nominal donation (5$) per person to go to the trail builders (SORBA). Sunday will be an informal muni/ road ride for those who stay the whole weekend.

I am not a very formal person, much prefer loose and easy going, so folks should expect to bring their own food and expect to share around (potluck). The whitle elepphant gift exchange is always fun, re-gifting, gag gifts, anything goes, and everyone gets a gift as longas they bring a gift.

I'll get together some more info including lodging options, directions, etc... I may even put up a simple web page with links

So far it's looking like mid May. Let's keep the posts coming and see how things lok after the New Year.

Go Ride!

This has my interest but I cannot obligate just yet. My preferred time period would be in April/May. June can get pretty hot, at least in west Tennessee.

I would be happy with something simple. Just a unicycle weekend where everyone provides their own food and lodging (whether that be a tent or hotel). MUni and 29/36er would be good.

Last call, looking at May 19-20, gonna start working on the flier this weekend, making plans to get SORBA to make it an official event for insurance purposes, otherwise it'll be the USA.

This will be a rain or shine event, trails are varied enough that there is always a trail that is rideable.

For anyone coming from afar, the Chattanooga area offers a lot of riding and sightseeing options. Let me know if you need any help with plans.

I will try to develop a web page, not sure if it'll work out, but with a page I would be better able to link ride details, lodging/camping options, etc...

Should be fun!
