That is an awesome trip. I feel inspired to do the coast of Oregon. I will have to wait for my husband to retire (two years) so he can be my support vehicle. I don't want to carry more than a Camelbak. What a blast. I could start in WA, at the bridge that crosses into Astoria, and travel to Crescent City. That would be worth training for.
