Well he still sidehopped and got on 141.... he's hardly made it easier for himself.

If he grabbed it, that would be cheating But rolling onto the pallet is nothing!

haha why dont i do it? because first of all i cant and second of all i dont want to. it just if you look at joes recent vid of 138 he gets his tire on fully and it looks nicer instead of getting the middle part of your tire on the top pallet and rolling on imo. look i think it looks nice but i think it would be better if the bottom of his tire was on. but thats just me.

That's why official records are all done over bars etc.

Yeah 138 is fairly easy for Joe though compared to something higher,im sure mike could make it look like that if his was 138

I'd like to see some skill comparison with Joe and Mike. Would be sweet. Joe's a lot better at technical lines isnt he?

I disagree completely. This is a sidehop up an obstacle. It's a cool technique to get the extra cms. Bike trials do this as well. Perfectly legit.

but if i would put the top of my tire on the top of a stack of pallets which is 160 and then roll up would you count at as 160? (not a rolling hop though) its like saying i hop over a bar, hit the bar and then catch it and place it back before i hit the ground and say that it counts except that, thats a little extreme i just think that if his tire was on fully it would count more. no hard feelings im just saying

I think if you can get to the top of the stack it doesnt matter how you do it

now over the bar is a different story

still some mad respect to Mike and Joe and everyone else who rides trials.

I guess so i just think it would be more official thats all. and yes over a bar is way different than on pallets and i think it stupid to have it as the official record but whatever.
