Cokering Alaska
My brother and I recently ordered our brand spankin new Coker Big Ones and we are planing some decent rides around our native South Central Alaska, and maybe as far north as Fairbanks. As far as we know we are the only two people in the whole state with Cokers (possibly). We will post as many pictures on this thread as we can throughout the summer of our adventures

There was a guy who posted a trip report here after he rode his 24" unicycle on the haul road, all the way to the Artic Ocean (as long as they allow you to go). I still can't fathom how someone could manage such a trip. |

Well just got the Coker's complete with Pi bars, and V brakes from Chattanooga Tennessee yesterday and we spent a few hours trying to ride them, we have logged about 14 miles, and are itching for more. Freemounting is still a problem here with very little infrastructure to support a proper mount (trees work sometimes). We have a very demanding schedule during the summer, our family owns a traveling carnival and this is the time when we are open, so pictures of our exploits might be sparse but we will try to post as soon as we get some real distance under our button tread.

Had our first real good ride, about 20 miles at earthquake park in Anchorage. A little history, the area was decimated on Good Friday1964 by a earthquake magnitude 9.2 that killed 131 people from the falling infrastructure and the ensuing tsunamis. The park had amazing trails and the worst mosquitos I had ever encountered but some solid riding.
Picture taken at 11pm, still very sunny
