I'm close buying airline tickets and wondering how to pack my uni to avoid paying $100 extra.

The best way to fly with a uni is to take it apart and put it in a suitcase. If you can tell a wheel is inside they might ask if it's a bike. Always reply with a no and say it's a bunch of circus props as you are a performer. Never say cycle or even unicycle. Works everytime for me.

I got my passport ordered this week, so it looks like at least 2 from Minnesota will be driving out, and a couple more may be flying. Exciting...!

I just made airline reservations, I'm coming - Yaaa! I smoothed things out with the wife by bringing her along and staying a few extra days for a mini-vacation. Next step is to see if my Muni will fit in my mother-in-laws giant suitcase..... The registration form asks for skill level. I know I'm not Expert, but not sure if I am intermediate or advanced. It's hard to judge when you are just riding by yourself. I'm sure I will be humbled by the caliber of riders at this event.

SFU - It's a freaking heavenly playground for uni's in my opinion. Water features, steps, ledges, rails, and smoooooth concrete as far as the eye can see. Oh and it's a really good school too XD

I'm debating between UBC, UVic, and SFU, and I'm sort of leaning towards UBC, with SFU being my third choice at this point. I think I've seen Vanuni ride at SFU before, so it must be good for uni! (sorry for the threadjack)Back on topic - Where do I find the waiver form? EDIT: Nevermind, I found it :P

I'm bringing my wife along to avoid any guilt
We have a private room booked at the hostel for the weekend, and we are staying a few extra nights in the area for some sightseeing.
