Do You Believe In Miracles?
Got a re-roofing job to do. So I was sitting on the roof on the garage really getting into laying the shingles when I set the nail gun down between my legs with the nozzle inadvertently pointing toward my crotch. For some reason, the gun fired, ejecting a nail at a very high rate of speed.
When I looked down, my faith grew by leaps and bounds… .

I think I can sum up that shot in one word:
WHEW!!! Glad that hose was there! Now you have something to think about on nail gun safety, I guess. Now I think I know why my friend, Andy Jennings the unicycling roofer, is usually on his knees (with kneepads) while doing that.  Photo: Andy at work on our roof, 2007
