hey guys im really thinking of getting a mac pretty much fore making videos but i was wondering what kinds of stuff u can run on them can they run like lime wire or any kind of downloading program and can they fun msn and if any of u guys have 1 can u tell me how u like it thx

Well, if you have a copy of WinXP and a program called Parallels, you can run anything you want on them. That's kinda cheating though

In MacOS itself, you can also run just about anything. I'm not sure about MSN Messenger, and a lot of games you can't.

Other than that, my experiences have been mostly positive.

i have one and i prefer it to windows p.c because there are no viruses and i don't play pc games. on the msn front you can get msn for free but the version isn't as up to date as the pc one and but the only real difference is that you cant web cam or play games with other pepole. imove is really great for making videos and iphoto is good for storing photos (providing you dont take to many and dont want to do massive editing) and they come free so you are all ready set up to go!
