No. Direct drive, you just stop pedaling. Brakes are add-ons for people who know why they need them.

LX is a good choice on the cheap. What's a good pogostick on the cheap?

What a coincidence, I pogo too! I had a Master until I broke the handle off, now I'm looking for a GG (not much luck).I switched over to unicycling because I don't have a stick anymore. I'm still a beginner so I can only do stairs, 180 X spin, 360 X spin, eagle, and bodywrap. Xpogo.com is what inspired me to pogo. As far as unicycles go, I have a Torker CX and its doing just fine. I bought it for about $60-70 bucks off eBay. I'm 6 foot, 135 lbs and its holding up just fine off drops and off-road. If you have a little more money ($260) then I would go with the Torker DX. I'm probably going to buy this one once I get really good. It really depends on what kind of riding you want to do. This site has a lot of unicycles you can order. http://www.unicycle.com/shopping/sho...&cat=Unicycles
However, you might wanna look on eBay first for lower prices.

a good, cheap stick is a super pgoo, which can be bought off pogosticks.com. the spring is really tight, so if your not experienced, you wont be able to jump on it well.

you can buy a foam master at toys r us for 30, but they suck, unless you mod them like i do. my modded sticks last about 5x longer than unmodded sticks.

as far as other sticks go, a motostik and flybar 800 are 200, while the vurtego is 350-400.

motostik.com

flybar.com

vurtego.com

xpogo.com

thepogospot.com

pogocult.tripod.com

http://cgi.ebay.com/20-UNICYCLE-TORK...QQcmdZViewItem

thats what im bidding on
