Cure for the common cold?
I got hit with a bad cold yesterday morning, blew my nose through the workday, came home and hit the sack. I intermittently slept through to this afternoon, supplementing the waking hours with lots of fluids, oranges, garlic and cold and sinus medication. I'm feeling a lot better now, still stuffy nose, but thinking a lot about the unicycle. Anyone medically savvy? Think it's too early to hop back on? Would getting a sweat going be good for me?

If you don't have a fever, it's probably safe to ride.

I'm NOT medically savvy. Here's what I'd do.
Get on the uni.....be happy. Work up a sweat, release endorphins, go home and take the same stuff you did to make your cold symptoms better, drink a little extra water, repeat.

My little cousin rides his unicycle whenever he's sick. And when he needs to throw up, he quickly gets it over with and starts unicycling again.

Well, I went for a ride. I did enough to start sweating and I'm feeling pretty good. My head is a lot clearer and I was riding smoother than ever. I didn't miss a single static mount either. All in all, I think it was a good idea.

If it feels good, do it. If you feel miserable, its best to rest. Ken |
