Final unicycle choice!

I know I am obsessing on this, but I still am baffled on which uni to get! I want EVERYONES opinion please! Also, don't just say which one, back it up with some facts. If you guys help me out here, then I might actually get rid of my crappy CX! Ok, all I want is a NICE freestyle uni for under $200. I want one that I can keep for the rest of my life for FREESTYLE (not MUni or Trials). I don't want you guys to pick out a crappy one and say it is ok because I'm young and light or something, I really want something I can use forever and will never have to upgrade (again, I mean for freestyle. I know a freestyle uni can't do MUni and Trials). Thanks a ton!!!

O.K. Tyler,
I'm no expert, but by comparing the options, I think I'd go with the Torker Dx ( due to the splined hub) or the Nimbus X (due to the Hookworm tire, alloy cranks and standard size seatpost and Kris Holm style saddle)
I hope this helps narrow things down a bit.

Yeah, I would definately go with the Torker DX also, after hearing pretty good things about it. Its got a pretty sweet saddle also. I'd say for the price ($140-$150) you can't get a better unicycle. Since you were planning on spending $200, you can upgrade it. Check ebay. And try to get an '05.

I'm leaning towards the Nimbus X. What is your opinion on that?

Why would you after everybody in this thread telling to go with a Torker DX. The torker is splined, and is so much better than a Nimbus X. A lot of people like the torkers KH style saddle more than the KH.

GET THE DX.

There you go, I looked on ebay for you. Unicycle.com way over priced the DX, its $150.00 on ebay +shipping.

Your welcome

Alright, I'm gonna call unicycle.com and ask them. I'll think about that DX on e-bay. Thanks, but I need more opinions! Also, post 1st, 2nd, 3rd, etc. choice.

I don't know much about freestyle but I don't see the need for a splined setup. The nimbus's would likely be lighter and I think look better. Plus they are more designed specifically for freestyle. Hopefully a real freestyle person can help you out.

David

Edit: Plus you might not like the big butt of the KH seat, in which case you'd want a Miyata/Torker LX. Maybe UDC could change that for you if you asked. Be sure its 20 inch.
