now who knows how to get my web page onto the unicyclist.com server?
I've tried getting both the muni weekend site (many months ago) and www.unicycle.2ya.com to run through unicyclist.com but it doesn't seem to work.

I don't think it's possible right now for new accounts due to a problem that Gilby says that he has on his "to do" list. I think it's related to the email problem because I haven't been able to get into my unicyclist.com email nor get the web hosting to work since I registered (a year ago).

Very impressive. Looks like a good flick. Any idea what the projected cost will be?

I was able to download it from John Childs' page. Great skills and editing! Looks like it will be a nice, watchable film.

But I'm going to come in and be the crotchety old man here for a minute. These videos are what inspires new riders to get into unicycling, or into Trials and MUni. Trials without a helmet sets a bad example, making inexperienced kids (or adults) think it's a good idea to try stuff like that with nothing but a baseball cap.

I'm not sure what the "helmet culture" is like in Australia, but I highly recommend using helmets in extreme unicycling videos. If you think it makes you look like a wuss, watch some Kris Holm or Ryan Atkins videos again.

In any case, can't wait to see the finished project in my local cinema!

Ok.. don't start up another Under No Influence war. Personally... I don't think they really need to be told to wear helmets. Some of them already do, it's their choice. I know they're gonna be inspiring new riders, but kids these days are pretty sensible, and most parents will force them to wear helmets anyway. I don't think they should have to wear helmets just because kids could be watching this movie, if they don't it's really their choice.

However I do respect your concern for the kids but you'll just have to hope that they make the right choice. If the kids don't want to wear one anyway, they won't and there won't be much you can do about it.

It varies a lot. There's at least one person in the movie being a wuss and wearing pads.

It changed from being a sellable movie, to about an hours worth of fun unicycling memories for myself and hte other people involved. I haven't done the authoring yet, and I guess I will still put it all into my albums at some stage, but it's very low key now and no longer has a title or anything like that.

Then I took all my footage and compressed it into a 5 minute segment for this movie (one wheel addiction).

theres an exception. cliff faces and bridges... your gonna die if you screw up helmet or no helmet.
For us in particular... everything is an educated risk (except MUni) the fact that ive never hit my head on anything (except for MUni) also leads to the lack of helmet wearing.

my opinion leg armour is more important.

we are young and invincible... plus pain is entertainment

oh and kids,

WEAR A HELMET!!!!...
