Also, Jet are alright.

Mellick,
What are some good Jethro Tull songs. I heard some stuff I really liked but can't remember the names to any of the songs.

PopeSamXVI,

Less Than Jake has a lot of really good stuff. I'm particular to their Blue Moon cover (I forgot to put Frank Sinatra on my list). Gainesville Rock City, the Good Burger song.

That ought to get you started if you like them I reccomend the KGB. If you download music just download songs with interesting titles, that's how I discovered They Might be Giants.

Has anyone ever heard of O.A.R.? They went to my high school several years ago, and apparently they are becoming quite famous.

Of A Revolution

O.A.R are very awesome. I haven't seen them live, but am told they kick sweet merciful a$$. Their song "Crazy Game of Poker" is a classic, very popular at colleges apparently as a drinking song... I've never drunk to it, but I've sung along with all my might!

for a while i listened to the same TMBG cd while i rode, so whenever i hear it now it reminds me of riding at school. but honestly i dont like them that much. i enjoy ana ng or whatever but the others are too silly for me.

i like modest mouse's new cd, their old stuff doesnt tickle my noodle.

but my favo(u)rite is tom jenkinson. he is the best. for those of you who dont know him, he is the Bach of the IDM world.

radiohead ranks up there as well.

i like 'the man comes around' by johnny cash, and while i dont mind his other stuff, it doesn't really splatter my beans.

others i enjoy are:

aphex twin
bjork
boards of canada
amon tobin
the cure, sometimes
baji asad is pretty good, fun to listen to, rather
dvorak's ninth

etc
etc

etc
