Technical questions about pedals, forks, and seat posts.
Can pedals of most unicycles be removed with the wheel remaining
securely attached to the fork? Have you tried dropping a spring into the seat post to absorb shocks? (you would need to make sure that the seat and post remains together somehow since it would not be clamped). I am not suggesting anyone do that, it is for my information. The seat post drops into the fork, right? I guess this is off topic, but does anybody know if most bicycle seat posts fit snugly into most bicycle front forks? Thanks again. |

(correction)

I guess the fork shaft would have to be slit with a matching nail on the seat post to keep the seat from turning on the fork, which could also prevent the post from coming off. Again, I am not recommending anything, just gathering information for my own personal use. -- I invent things, and I am not just making that up. http://home.att.net/~lshaping/ |

All pedals can easily be removed without remove anything else. Sorry but that's the only question I can really answer.

Re: Technical questions about pedals, forks, and seat posts.
Thanks. I can ask about the seat/saddle post fitting into the fork in
a bicycle group, or eventually go and find out at some store. Have fun with your new unicycle. |
