Come on you lazy people, write some reviews!
You've all surely got something to write a review on so get to work!
. Wouldn't you agree that it'd be really good if we had a huge list of reviews in that forum?Andrew

My newest toy is a Velo seat, but I don't really think I've ridden enough on it, or indeed am good enough to really push it to its limits enough to do a half-realistic review of it.
As far as I can tell it's nice and comfy, the handle is great and shows no sign of damage, but the front is wider, and quite harsh on my poor little legs... Phil, just me

Thank you Mike. And Phil, isn't that enough for a review? Are you meant to wait until you've broken the product before you write a review on it? I understand that it's more helpful to know how a product is going to break if it does, but I still think a small review would help. Please post it. (unless Gilby only wants longer and more detailed reviews, in which case don't post it yet.)
Thanks

Re: Come on you lazy people, write some reviews!
sample review:
Grendel is the perfect killer: quick, silent, ruthless, huge and terrifying... Sure he's only killed a squirrel so far, but I didn't even FEEL the (bump of the) squirrel's death. Killing a dog or a child might involve a UPD, but a cat or possum or maybe even raccoon would be easy.... My one notable fall (tricked by reflexes) has left me with a spot tender and sore to the touch on my left calf and an almost-healed cut on my right thigh almost a month post-crash. My several hundred UPDs, on the other hand, haven't been a problem except for the repeated bike shop visits. Just gotta remember not to let Christa hang around me during morning unicycle practice before she has her coffee: she yelled "Car!" so my head snapped around... ouch. For a car a hundred feet away moving about 20 mph... I was flat irked. I occasionally pass off-leash dogs during unicycle practice. Note: I am a dog person, they generally love me and coming running up to me for love and affection. I have a trio of Siberian Huskies, all my neighbors have dogs, we go to the dog park every weekend, et cetera. Grendel terrifies them - they bolt away at top speed without pause until they're out of sight. Heck, maybe out of zip code. MY huskies are gradually accepting Grendel, but they're very wary. Even my neighbor's 100# German Shepherd red-fanged bloodthirsty killer (yeah, that's some other anecdote, I know) is scared of Grendel, and Nick likes me a lot. |

Phil, Good work, that's a really helpful review. Now don't you just feel better after having done that? Scott, Interesting...
