True. I'd say the wheelset of the uni is really it's core. It is a "Custom Qu-ax" though. Maybe I'll ride it if I we ride together someday.

I'll post pics when I finish (read: start) my custom uni the new Qu-ax has ISIS splined cranks so not very similar to Torker. I agree that the old ones looked a damn lot alike though.

How do those cranks hold up? They look so fragile.. loving the flame sticker but for the rest pretty standard, are there any flaming hot qu-ax unis out there?

They hold up for me, because I'm not really extreme.

I think its the hub that is the real heart of a uni.

Or what do you think is my uni?

Nimbus hub, Tensile cranks, KH rim, Monty tire, Point Racing pedals, KH frame, Koxx Seatclamp, Quax seatpost and CF KH seat.

I think its a nimbus unicycle.
We need another "Custom Nimbus unicycles" thread

most people take a stock uni and modify it. not buy a bunch of random parts and throw them together.
sounds sick though. how are the tensiles?
and got pics?

I already bend the Tensiles a bit.

Here are some pics of the uni (with different pedals though):

I will change the cranks soon. I wanna test the Quax CrMo ISIS.
And maybe i'll get the frame powdercoated black.

yeah there wasn't a nimbus thread, and it did START as a qu-ax until like a week or two ago.

Of course

But what if you take a Koxx hub and a KH rim?
Thats a custom Koxx then (in my opinion)

hmmm.. its starting to sound like we should have just started a "custom unicycles" thread and left it at that. I do agree with "yall" but my uni did START as a qu-ax so i always think of it as a qu-ax. It would have been easier with a simple thread for all custom though.

Haha, well that still depends on what the rest of the unicycle is.

Maybe he's right, it's origin lies in what it started as. If it was custom to begin with, then it's simply 'custom'.
