I messaged on facebook about the Surley. never heard back. I would like to have a Surley in my collection.

I gave my 24" Triton to my soon to be 10 year old daughter. Now I never get to ride it.

I wasn't really sure where to post this but I thought it was funny

It almost looks similar to some of the homebrew geared unis we've seen on these forums, but with a rear wheel for stability.

I recently picked up a copy of One Wheel, Many Spokes, where Lars Clausen rode across the US using handlebars like that. Doesn't look terribly comfortable to me. Not sure what mounting looks like.

It's too bad the design of the custom hub doesn't include a disc brake. I would definitely make a unicycle out of it if it did. There's a new product from kervelo.com coming out in a couple months that may be even better.

The Surly looks like a 26" with a 24" tire and it has rim brake mounts.

I seem to remember seeing a video of this guy too... Absolutely wild handlebars. I imagine he would just step into them from behind then mount? No idea though!
