advice needed, to develop my riding skills.

Hi all

Im new to this forum, but im pretty descent rider, ive had my unicycle for about 4 years now and i can ride backwards for about 50m, hop up curbs while moveing , idel so on...
I now want to go beyond the basics and become the best I can, I am currently learning to ride seat out(getting there), my problem is that cant hop very high does anyone have any advice.
Also im looking at getting a new tyer for riding street, are thicker tyers better for riding street?
Thanks for any advice in advance

I have a qu-ax unicycle its pretty basic but it gets the job done.
