Hey All, I work at a TV station and we just got this press release about an event going on this weekend in Portland and Freeport, Maine. Kris will be there doing demos and showing clips from his films. Go support the sport and Kris!

Mountain unicyclist brings one-wheel all-terrain magic

to Southern Maine for MountainFilm

FREEPORT, MAINE. (FOR IMMEDIATE RELEASE) Kris Holm, the 2002 World

Unicycle Trials Champion, the world's best known mountain unicyclist, and a

member of Horny Toad's "Team Toad," will make a pair of appearances in

Southern Maine this weekend.

On Saturday evening, Holm will appear during the MountainFilm festival at

the State Theater in Portland. On Sunday afternoon, (1pm.) Holm will host a

special, one-day performance at Camp Toad, the Freeport outlet store of

Horny Toad apparel. (11 Bow St. Freeport, Maine.)

"You've got to see this guy to believe what he can do", said Bob Meinert,

Horny Toad's minister of fun and manager of Camp Toad.

On Saturday, MountainFilm raises the curtain at 7:30 p.m., with Holm

scheduled to appear during the show's intermission. This traveling visual

arts festival is a compilation of the best films showcased at the

internationally acclaimed four-day Mountain Film and Mountain Symposium,

held each May in Telluride, Colo. (www.mountainfilm.org).

Tickets for MountainFilm are $11 in advance or $14 at the door. A student

discount is available. Advance tickets may be purchased at the Horny Toad

store in Freeport, or in Portland at Eastern Mountain Sports, Maine

MountainWorks and Cadillac's Patagonia

On Sunday, Holm will host a special performance beginning at 1 p.m. at Camp

Toad in Freeport. This unique event will include an outdoor trials

demonstration a dynamic showcase of one-wheeled stunts and obstacle

Yeah, we're trying to get non-unicyclist people from the area to come and watch-so far, we've just gotten some posters from Horny Toad and put them up aroud school and around town.(Freeport)
Hopefully there will be a good turnout...

I live in Freeport, so this is really awesome, but anyway, see you there-
