Blind Person Uses Echolocation to Get Around

Watch this video and be amazed.

It's one of those feats beyond the impossible. He's the man.

Makes Daredevil seem more believable, that is awesome.

I think of all the five human senses, sight is the one that uses the most brain power. If there is no sight, the other four senses can get a lot more sensitive.

It's why some piano tuners are blind (or so I've been told by a teacher), since there's no sight they can hear a lot more clearly. In his case, he can do echolocation because his ears have become so sensitive since his brain doesn't need to process sight. Or something like that.

Not sure about the video games aspect of it, but being blind and deaf didn't stop Tommy becoming a pinball wizard.

he should SO learn to unicycle! and I think his brain developed his ears so well because he lost his sight before his brain finalized the connections (that happens around age 16 or 17 I think) so his sight connections died and his hearing touch and taste took over....

EDIT: I'm not an expert so don't quote me on it.....

Pretty nice. One of the guys I studied capoeira beside is almost completely blind, and he gives most people a run for their money. Blind isn't helpless by a long shot.

Just the Weekly World News. They've been running stories on Bat Boy since 1992.

Then they wrote a musical about him.
