Are Monty tyres indoor friendly i.e. they won't mark a nice 'n' shiny wooden
floor? I think I know the answer to this one but thought I'd ask just in case
they are...

Cheers, Neil

Re: Are Monty tyres indoor friendly?

Riding smoothly in a straight line doesn't mark the floor - but then I guess
that isn't the purpose you've bought it for!

Given the marks they were leaving in the Universe video, I'd guess they're not
indoor floor friendly. However, I don't think the black Odyssey Bermuda on my
unicycle is a nonmarking tire, but so far it hasn't marked up the floor in my
house (did get a kitchen cabinet once, but we won't talk about that). It
leaves definite tire marks when riding outdoors. But I don't ride it indoors
much, so...

Re: Are Monty tyres indoor friendly?

Is there any possibility that Monty or Plazmatic might be persuaded to make a
white or light gray tire with a slightly harder compound so that it would be
non-marking and safe for indoor floors? With a tire like that freestyle and
hockey would never be the same.

You can see the Plazmatic tire at http://www.trialsin.com/
