![]() First inspection suggests the Nimbus Slim is just as curved and has the same overhead profile as the Gel (no big news there). Not too worried, as unless it's really awful, if it doesn't work out for distance I'll be happy to have it on the trials/street uni it was bought with. |

I just put a KH Fusion Street on my 36er... much better fit than the Fusion Freeride. I've done a couple 30 mile rides and there's just no saddle soreness anymore.

I switched to the Street for both my 36er and 29er.

When I get my 29er rebuilt I'll try for a back to back comparison with the Gel riding some distance. |

Are you using the Street for muni as well?

Yes. I prefer the KH saddles for the flatter profile. I like the Street because it reduces chafing. Although I don't do super tech muni, I haven't missed the padding vs the Freeride at all.

The stock seat "nimbus" on my new Titan is pretty nice but still kinda wide so some saddle sore occurred. I just got a KH Freeride and put it on. Can't wait to try it out, it already looks like it will be super comfortable. Narrowish, flat, split down the middle, very nice.
Looking at the flatness of the Freeride vs. most my other saddles is ridiculous. I'll try to report back after I get a 10mile ride in on the 36er with the new seat to compare the results. |
