Preventing tire flats?

Hi,

Back When I was MTB'ing, I used to put tube sealant to prevent those summer nasty thorns. Do you recommend using it also on Muni? do you have better solution?

In Africa I used tyre sealant in the tube and a plastic strip in between the tyre and the tube. Worked well apart from one thorn that went through the sidewall.

Good quality tyres can make all the difference. Some tyres come with a protection strip built into the tyre, otherwise look for a high TPI (threads per inch).
