A pedal observation
This may be so obvious as to not bear comment, but I'll proceed nevertheless.
I spent today walking around New York City as well as through the exhibitors booths at a librarian's conference. I was on my feet virtually all day and by the time I got home they ached like mad. I considered not going out for my usual evening ride but decided to anyway. As I've noticed before unicycling is so much easier on the feet than walking. Let this be some incentive to those of you among us still struggling with the problem of not keeping your weight on the seat. When you get this, your feet will thank you! Raphael Lasar Matawan, NJ

Hi!Hi!
One of my initial justifications to muster unicycle was to take weight of lower limbs in anticipation of senile ostheoarthiritis in plain english - wear and tear. I intended to eliminate, to a degree ,gravity force from the equation.
Little did I knew what it was going to my whole body. Various ahes and periodic pains due to old sport injuries almost do not exist. I got back my "spring" while walking. And all due to, retiring blues, expectations.
